Role Summary The brand advocate will report to the Sr Account Manager and work closely to coordinate activities. This person must be a road warrior and have the flexibility to work evenings and weekends. As a Brand Advocate, you will be the face of our brands at dispensary pop‑ups, pop‑ins, budtender trainings, community events, and other promotional activities. You’ll play a key role in educating consumers and budtenders, building excitement around our products, and fostering relationships with dispensary staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Promote Brand Awareness: Schedule dispensary Pop‑Ups to support sales. Represent the company’s core values and mission as the face of the brand at dispensary pop‑ups, product demos, and community gatherings.

Educate Consumers and Dispensary Staff: Share detailed information about products, such as strain profiles, extraction processes, and benefits. Host budtender training sessions and address consumer questions while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Build Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with dispensary staff, budtenders, and management to enhance brand awareness and loyalty. Engage consumers to create memorable experiences.

Execute 4P Strategies: With a focus on the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion), track both Glass Meadows products and the competitive set in dispensaries, and communicate regularly back to the Sr Account Managers. Schedule and execute pop‑ups and pop‑ins, ensuring effective setup of materials including displays, swag, samples, and signage. Distribute branded merchandise, gather feedback, and provide insights to refine offerings and marketing tactics.

Drive Sales: Identify sales opportunities including but not limited to gaps in Glass Meadows assortment and pricing on menu, changes in key contacts at dispensaries, assisting consumers in product selection, and more. Educate budtenders to understand the Glass Meadows products and story to enable them to sell to consumers and recommend Glass Meadows above all other items. Capture information in available tools (HubSpot) and ensure reporting is shared on a weekly basis. Highlight product features to encourage trial and repeat purchases, track the success of events, and measure their impact on sales.

Compliance and Reporting: Stay informed about New Jersey cannabis regulations, ensure all activities align with legal guidelines, and prepare reports on event outcomes, consumer feedback, and trends to improve future campaigns.

Qualifications

At least 1–2 years of experience in the cannabis industry or a similar role, with a solid understanding of cannabis products, consumption methods, and industry trends.

High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication abilities to engage diverse audiences, build rapport and relationships with dispensary staff and consumers to foster brand loyalty and ultimately sales.

Reliable, organized, and available to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and provide timely reporting.

Expectations

Must be available to work evenings and weekends for dispensary pop‑ups and events.

Use a personal vehicle to travel statewide for events, with mileage and travel expenses reimbursed.

Ability to lift and transport event materials, including tables, tents, and supplies.

Ability to travel extensively across New Jersey, up to 80% of the time.

Represent the brand with a knowledgeable, reliable, and approachable demeanor at all times.

Responsible for event setup, breakdown, and maintaining a visually appealing promotional space.
