What You’ll Lead As a Superintendent, you’ll manage field crews on geotechnical and geohazard mitigation projects across the Western U.S.
Your Core Responsibilities Include
Leading crews installing slope stabilization and geohazard mitigation systems
Creating and executing safety plans—protecting your people is priority #1
Managing schedule, production, and budget performance
Handling documentation: daily logs, photos, as-builts, checklists, compliance
Coaching and developing crew members; conducting performance reviews and corrective actions
Coordinating crew travel and logistics with partners in Travel and Project Management
Ensuring equipment maintenance and jobsite organization
Communicating clearly with clients and internal teams

Required
5+ years in construction in Geotechnical, Environmental, Civil or similar industries managing projects that involve similar drilling, shotcrete, slope or soils work.
1+ year in lead hand, foreman or working superintendent roles
Ability to read scopes, specs, drawings, and execute a project plan
Experience motivating crews and leading high-quality work
Strong communication—clear, direct, solution‑oriented
Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping the crew aligned
Flexibility to travel and adjust schedules as needed
Driver’s license (CDL A is a plus)
Work & Travel Expectations
Outdoor work in climates ranging from mountains to deserts
Typical construction‑site hazards and noise levels
Regular lifting of 75 lbs+
Extensive travel—up to 100% across the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits This is an hourly leadership role with significant earning potential:
$33–$50 per hour
