Part-Time Retail Key Carrier - Fort Walton Beach Thrift

Retail Key Carrier The Waterfront Rescue Mission is hiring positive, highly productive, safety‑minded, and team‑oriented associates to join our team at the Waterfront Thrift Store in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Under the direction of the Thrift Store Manager, the Key Carrier supports store management in achieving efficiency in store operations, merchandising, training, and various other assigned areas of responsibility within a thrift store. This is a part‑time position working 40 hours per week. The primary duties include supervision and accountability of employees, volunteers, and clients, and performing all reasonably related duties as assigned. Store hours are 9 am – 6 pm Monday – Saturday and closed Sunday.

Responsibilities

Assist with financial performance to goal

Assist with studying KPI performance daily

Assist in managing a high‑performance team that will complement the growth of the store

Assist in managing controllable expenses

Ensure customer service expectations are followed at all times

Ensure a well recovered, clean, and organized store

Qualifications

Christian Commitment: Must exemplify and model Christian behaviors and values and possess high levels of ethics, honesty and character.

Education/Experience: High School degree/GED or 2 or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have a valid state driver's license and be insurable by the Waterfront Rescue Mission insurance carrier.

Must have reliable transportation.
