Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion you may also work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

Starting hourly pay rate: $13.00 to $15.00, depending on skills and experience.

Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.).

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

Average weekly hours: 2–4 hours per week.

Availability required the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, and to support seasonal changes, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day engagement:

Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for communication with supervisors, reporting, feedback, and surveys. Interact professionally with store staff and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display in your assigned stores.

Holiday support:

Work additional days and extended hours around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On some holidays, work may occur on the actual holiday or during weekends.

Department resets:

Participate in installations, relocations, and resets of Hallmark fixtures and card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance; may include evenings or weekends.

Team collaboration:

As part of Hallmark’s field organization, assist other team members in their territories as needed.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and using step ladders are also required.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 18 years of age.

Read, write, and understand English.

Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Operate a digital handheld device to view documents and interpret information.

Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.

Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
