Summary
The Bartender delivers an elevated beverage and guest experience in a refined, golf clubhouse setting. This role is responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, serving premium beverages, and engaging with members and guests in a polished, professional manner. The Bartender maintains a clean, organized bar while creating a welcoming, sophisticated, and service-driven atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Promptly greet every guest with a warm, professional, and polished demeanor.
Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beverages to the highest quality and presentation standards.
Enforce state and/or company alcohol guidelines.
Collect proper payment for each check.
Ensure that proper alcohol measurements are utilized in accordance with restaurant rules for mixing drinks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area at all times.
Be knowledgeable about the Golf Clubhouse and Islands.
Be able to work days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them back.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work with a high sense of urgency at all times.
Be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Work well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift.
Education and/or Experience
Previous bartending experience in a high-end restaurant, resort, or club setting preferred.
Full-service bar experience required.
Alcohol Safety Training, TIPS, or another accredited program.
Skills and Competencies

Ability to provide discreet, attentive service to members and guests.

Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push or pull. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee occasionally required to walk, sit, climb or balance, and taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
