Job Title: Porter
Las Vegas Petroleum is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Porter to join our team. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, ensuring a pleasant environment for both our customers and staff. This role is crucial to our operations, as we strive to provide exceptional service at our travel centers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of facilities, including restrooms, lobbies, and other common areas
Regularly empty trash bins and replace liners, disinfect surfaces, and ensure all areas are presentable
Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and reporting larger maintenance issues
Set up and break down equipment and furniture for meetings and events
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and inquiries as they arise
Monitor cleaning supply levels and inform management when supplies are running lowFollow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is a plus
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
