Harvest Bible Chapel Buffalo

is a non-denominational evangelical church devoted to glorifying God by making disciples through the Great Commission and living out the Great Commandment. The church is built on four pillars:

Harvest Buffalo offers vibrant children's and growing youth ministries that help young people develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Multigenerational small groups foster discipleship, accountability, and meaningful community. The church is also deeply committed to local and global outreach, partnering to plant churches in Nicaragua, support seminary education and leadership development, and provide care for orphans and foster children. By blending worship, teaching, prayer, and service, they encourage their members to live out their faith fully and make a lasting impact in Buffalo and around the world.

Responsibilities

Strategically oversee the development and growth of the Harvest Kids Ministry. Provide direct oversight and leadership of the Student Ministry. Develop and implement a comprehensive Young Adult Ministry. This includes planning the calendar year, orchestrating Sunday and mid-week gatherings, leading operations for major events, creating communication plans, instilling a culture of safety, biblical teaching, training leaders, engaging our community, and creating systems for improving discipleship.

Assist the pastoral team of Harvest in the equipping of parents to lead their children and youth spiritually through resources, workshops, and events.

Assist the pastoral team with various items: membership interviews, baptisms, weddings, funerals, counseling, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required with a Graduate Degree preferred.

Proven experience in ministry leadership, with an emphasis on youth or family ministry.

Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a passionate, growing, personal relationship with Him.

Meet the biblical qualifications of an Elder (Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Timothy 3:1-7).

Be a member of Harvest and wholeheartedly embrace the doctrine, mission, and ministry philosophy of Harvest.

This person must be humble, loyal, trustworthy, capable, flexible, resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, able to hold confidence, and have a servant’s heart.

Is a “people person” who is passionate about evangelism.

Has strong interpersonal communication skills and can work as part of a team that values collaboration and humility.

Affirm and uphold Complementarian Theology.
