the PARC Vet is looking to add a full-time Pet Resort Attendant to their team!
At The PARC Vet, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, you’ll feel the warmth and openness of a small clinic, while having the opportunity and support of a united network.
Description Pet Resort Attendant The PARC Vet The PARC Vet is a 24/7 Animal Hospital that does it all: Wellness Care and 24/7 ER/Critical Care. Our 25,000 square foot facility is one of the most unique in the country with glass walls that help calm pets’ fears. We care about the People as much as the Pets, including our team members.
Experience & Skills Requirements
Has experience working as a kennel technician
Experience handling or caring for dogs and cats in a professional or volunteer setting.
Ability to administer oral and topical medications to animals.
Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments.
Strong attention to detail for monitoring animal health and maintaining accurate electronic records.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking dogs frequently and standing for long periods.
Willingness to assist with cleaning and sanitation duties.
Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across different departments (boarding, salon, veterinary).
Basic computer skills for electronic record‑keeping.
Role Responsibilities
Individuals in this role work in our boarding and salon departments and perform such duties as:
Feeding, medicating, and walking our furry guests (dogs and cats).
Offering boarding guests emotional support and love while their owners are out of town.
Maintaining clean and sanitized conditions so that our furry guests remain healthy and comfortable during their stay.
Giving baths and doing nail trims.
Keeping accurate electronic records that detail a guest’s eating habits, eliminations, appetite, change in behavior, etc.
Collaborating with all departments at The PARC and helping care for veterinary patients as directed.
