LHH Recruitment Solutions partnering with a well-respected, long-standing law firm in the South Florida market that is looking to add a Residential Real Estate Post Closer / Legal Assistant to its busy real estate practice group. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of residential post-closing work and light commercial real estate support in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
About the Role This position supports a residential real estate partner and also provides entry-level assistance with commercial real estate matters. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-driven, and highly skilled in Microsoft Word, especially with formatting and document revisions.
Key Responsibilities
Handle post-closing tasks including document review, recording, and follow-up
Provide backup support to the residential real estate team
Assist with drafting, revising, and formatting commercial real estate documents
Perform document comparisons and track changes in Microsoft Word
Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and third parties
Maintain organized electronic and physical files
Track deadlines and follow up on transaction-related items
Support attorneys with administrative and transactional tasks as needed
Qualifications
Prior legal assistant experience, ideally in real estate
Strong understanding of residential transactions and post-closing procedures
Advanced Microsoft Word skills (formatting, blacklining, comparing documents)
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Professional communication skills and a proactive, team-first approach
