The Nutrition Service department is looking for top talent and your career development is extremely important. Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager and Supervisor, focus on sanitation in a variety of areas in retail, patient services, and coffee kiosks.
Maintain excellence in cleanliness in all aspects of service areas.
Perform ware washing in accordance with safety guidelines.
Manage pot and pan supplies for the Cooks area.
Assist in other areas as needed.
Handle vendor receiving from the dock as well as storage and maintenance in the storeroom.
Transport food to satellite locations when required, based on departmental need.
Work at any/all Parkview entities as necessary.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma/GED preferred or a minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality services, customer services, or general labor preferred. Previous experience in nutritional services in a medical or hospital setting preferred.
Other Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Ability to perform the physical demands of frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending.
