A Brief Overview Leads sales representatives within assigned region, providing advice, counsel and guidance. Interacts with customers and assigned institutions, physicians to assure success within region
What You Will Do
Direct supervision of team Responsible for hiring and retaining a diverse, highly qualified staff and for providing career coaching, growth and personal development. Responsible for the development of staff: critiques, instructs, mentors, evaluates and coaches.
Forecasting
Prepares quarterly regional injectable sales forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential and in the preparation of injectable sales expense estimates for the region.
Plans and manages the injectable sales effort for assigned region and hold ITM’s accountable to accomplish their sales forecast
Customer Relations Maintains
Contact with major customers, and key opinion leaders within assigned region, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Help identify, recruit and manage key opinion leaders within the region.
Business Hygiene
Ensure full compliance of all business hygiene related activities to include (but not limited to): expense reporting, online module training, sample reporting and management for themselves and their respective teams
Related functions and collaboration
Performs related functions and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned to include, but not limited to, working cross functionally and with designated counterparts from other Merz divisions.

Technical & Functional Skills
Requires highly developed leadership skills/experience sufficient to assume the responsibilities of this management position. Must be skilled at delegation, follow-up, and team building.
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Demonstrates verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Must be able to perform intermediate level arithmetic calculations, including ratios, rates and percentages; draw and interpret graphs; apply the principles or rational systems to solve practical problems; effectively deal with a variety of tangible variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, diagrammatic or schedule form.
Must have four to eight plus years of progressively more responsible work experience in Disposable product areas or a related discipline, including direct experience in Plastic/Dermatology product sales.
Must have comprehensive working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as, e-mail, Microsoft Office, graphics software, etc.
Has direct knowledge about physicians in the Plastic/Dermatology medical market. Seasoned judgment acquired through organizational experience and achievements applying state-of-the-art sales principles. Documented record of delivering sales information which adds value to management’s decision making processes.
