Field Automation Scientist-West (Post Sales)

Field Automation Scientist (FAS) to support workflow automation solutions for Biopharma and Biotech and related R&D labs responsible for installing, commissioning, and supporting complex integrated lab automation systems while training and partnering closely with customers. The position focuses on enabling high-throughput experimentation workflows, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and acting as a customer advocate through both on-site and remote support, with travel around 50%.

Key qualifications include: a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
(graduate degree preferred) , hands‑on applications/service/technical support experience with complex lab automation systems, and proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python. The ideal candidate understands general lab practices, communicates exceptionally well, and can inspire customers about automation.
