Job Summary/Description

WBNG, the dominant #1 TV station in Binghamton, NY, is looking for a high‑energy, digitally‑savvy, hands‑on Director of Sales to lead all sales operations. The ideal candidate has a genuine commitment to cultivating a high‑performing, supportive culture while leveraging Gray Digital Media products to transform client businesses.

Responsibilities

Lead a winning, digital‑first sales team: inspire, mentor, and coach a motivated sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous growth across all platforms.

Build strategic, visually compelling presentations and proposals.

Drive new business initiatives with a strong digital‑first mindset.

Strengthen client and agency relationships, and identify new revenue growth areas.

Champion a culture of positivity, accountability, energy, and collaboration.

Qualifications/Requirements

3+ years of experience in media sales leadership preferred, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.

Broad expertise in both traditional TV and advanced digital sales strategies.

A natural leader who motivates and empowers teams with a hands‑on, proactive approach.

Exceptional follow‑through and operational organization, along with outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Strong analytical skills to interpret data, forecast trends, and make data‑driven decisions that propel digital growth.
