
Client Growth Strategy Manager, Affiliate Marketing

Overview
As a Client Growth Strategy Manager, you manage a portfolio of advertiser accounts and provide expert advice, training, and consulting on affiliate marketing procedures and strategies. You create content, tools, and thought leadership, renew contracts, upsell services, provide financial projections, and collaborate with other functions to meet client needs. You act as a trusted advisor and help advertisers implement the CJ network strategy.
Responsibilities
Manage client relationships and understand advertiser objectives to develop high‑impact affiliate marketing strategies.
Lead a team of affiliate marketers to execute strategies efficiently.
Pitch CJ’s products and solutions to drive adoption and achieve client business goals.
Convey CJ’s value proposition and act as an escalation partner for advertiser programs.
Define platform feature and capability enhancements as a product collaborator on behalf of advertisers.
Grow CJ client revenue, forecast growth accurately, and identify opportunities.
Develop and share best practices, content, and tools through CJ’s Support Center, Blog, and other collateral.
Collaborate across departments to identify and troubleshoot complex program management and technical challenges.
Mentor associate-level staff, providing coaching, guidance, and best practices to help team members succeed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in a marketing role, ideally digital performance marketing.
Capability to develop thoughtful strategies to grow advertiser programs.
Strong written and verbal communication and relationship skills.
Ability to work cross‑functionally with Product, Analytics, Accounting, and Technology teams.
Deliver high‑quality service and results while meeting CJ financial expectations.
Proven leadership and coaching skills.
Critical thinking and creative problem‑solving; able to influence and negotiate account strategies.
Passion for innovation and technology.
Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
