A leading firm in the asset‑management industry is seeking a
Vice President of Cloud Architecture
to drive a large‑scale transformation from an on‑premises environment to a secure, scalable Azure cloud ecosystem. This is a
hybrid role based in Los Angeles .
What You’ll Lead
100% hands‑on technical ownership
of the cloud transformation, guiding the migration of ~1,000 on‑prem servers into a modern Azure environment.
Architecture & Governance:
Define the Azure Landing Zone architecture, roadmap, and governance model.
Cloud Framework Excellence:
Ensure all workloads, VMs, and data platforms adopt best‑practice frameworks, including the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Well‑Architected Framework, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001.
Executive Communication:
Translate cloud strategy, risk posture, and modernization plans for senior leadership while providing deep architectural guidance to engineering teams.
Cross‑Functional Partnership:
Collaborate closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security to standardize automation, strengthen governance, and remediate legacy deployments.
Strategic Impact:
Serve as the architectural authority and transformation catalyst, ensuring the cloud foundation is robust, compliant, cost‑efficient, and aligned with long‑term data and investment ambitions.
