The Sales Solution Manager plays a critical role within Staples Promotional Products, supporting revenue growth for our Incentive & Recognition solutions across the United States. This role is responsible for enabling sales through strategic solution development, partnering closely with sales leadership, and ensuring the successful implementation and performance of incentive and recognition programs. The Sales Solution Manager acts as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and customers, blending strategic thinking, SaaS expertise, and customer insight to deliver high‑impact programs.

What You’ll Be Doing

Enable sales growth by identifying, qualifying, and advancing new incentive and recognition opportunities

Develop strategic incentive and recognition solutions using Staples Promotional Products’ SaaS platform

Partner with sales teams to support complex deals, solution positioning, and customer engagement

Collaborate with internal line‑of‑business and marketing teams to enhance the product portfolio based on market trends and customer feedback

Influence and support the client success model to ensure strong program adoption and outcomes

Oversee program budgeting, forecasting, and performance against revenue and profit targets

Serve as a subject‑matter expert for incentive and recognition solutions across the U.S. sales organization

Participate in the successful launch and ongoing optimization of customer programs

Coach and guide client success resources on best practices for program support and execution

What You Bring To The Table

Deep expertise in incentive and recognition program design and structures

Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving capabilities

Proven ability to influence and collaborate across sales, marketing, and client success teams

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Strong SaaS and technology acumen

Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on revenue enablement

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment

Thought leadership and credibility with customers and sales leadership

High level of adaptability and independent judgment

What’s Needed – Basic Qualifications

5+ years of related business experience

Demonstrated experience supporting revenue growth initiatives

Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with customers

What’s Needed – Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

5+ years of experience in revenue enablement or solution‑based selling

Proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and implementing incentive and recognition programs

Experience within the promotional products or related industry

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue and profit targets

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.
