A leading university is seeking an
IT Technical Writer . The successful candidate will write and review technical materials, including manuals, appendices, and instructions.
IT Technical Writer Responsibilities
Organise material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, online accessibility, and terminology.
Design and format publications, and coordinate printing and distribution of technical documents.
May assist in layout work.
Monitor and resolve help tickets.
IT Technical Writer Qualifications
3 years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor's degree.
Excellent writing and grammar skills in addition to relevant technical knowledge.
Good working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Good working knowledge of content management systems such as Drupal.
Good working knowledge of Google Workspace and Adobe Creative tools.
Shift
20 hours per week/4 hours per day.
Flexible within California business hours (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., one-hour lunch included).
