Nordstrom Product Group (NPG) - Assistant Technical Designer, Rack Women's App

NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 4 days/week in order to be considered for this position.
A day in the life
Assist Technical Design Team to develop clear, concise Tech Packs to include measurement worksheet and construction images to align with Design intent and Brand DNA
Assist in evaluating samples to ensure product specifications, quality and construction standards are executed
Measure samples
Support Technical Design Team and participate in fit sessions as needed
Support Technical Design Team to meet calendar milestones and due dates
Support internal teams to maintain sample organization throughout development and production lifecycle
Assist in special projects as directed
You own this if you have
Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Design, Apparel Manufacturing, Pattern Making or equivalent industry experience
1+ years of experience in Technical Design, preferably within Women's apparel.
Organization and time management skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Strong interpersonal skills, including clear, effective written and verbal communication
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop
Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management Software, preferred
Exposure to 3D apparel development preferred – Browzwear, CLO, Optitex
Exposure to 2D pattern software preferred – Gerber Accumark, Optitex

Pay Range Details Washington: $52,600.00 - $84,200.00 Annual
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
