Job Summary The role is Salesforce Architect/Developer, remote, and requires the candidate to obtain a Public Trust. Responsibilities include technical design, implementation of complex Salesforce solutions for government clients, and leading development teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Establish best practices for development, security, and performance optimization

Architect and design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards

Participate in technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance to development teams

Develop complex customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies

Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents

Provide technical oversight of deliverables

Evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies for potential implementation

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions

Manage integration architecture with external systems and third‑party applications

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

8+ years of Salesforce development experience

5+ years of experience in architectural roles

Salesforce Platform Developer II certification

Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification

Required Skills and Competencies

Expert‑level knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations

Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce development

Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and sharing architecture

Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices

Proven experience designing large‑scale Salesforce implementations

Strong knowledge of API integration patterns and middleware solutions

Experience with data migration and ETL tools

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and leadership abilities

Experience with Agile development methodologies

Desired Skills and Competencies

Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification

Experience with government IT projects

Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements

Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms

Additional certifications in Salesforce specialty clouds

Experience with AI/ML implementation in Salesforce

Experience with GearSet

Experience with GitHub

Knowledge of DevSecOps practices

Experience with change management in enterprise environments
