Introduction:

We are seeking Technical Sales Support for Screening & Chute Solutions to join our Metso team! You will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support to customers, through comprehensive understanding of the products, support software and application areas. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Sales Support, USA Mining.

This position will cover the Southwest portion of the United States and can work remotely however, it does involve up to 50% travel to customer sites.

What you’ll do:

Support customers with product line input to optimize Capital Screens, Screen Spares, and Screen Media, in coordination with Product Support Managers.

Act as local product expert for Screening Products, providing technical guidance, field support, and application expertise.

Perform and support wear measurements, assessments, and recommendations for media change outs and screen improvements.

Train and collaborate with local Market Areas on wear readings, evaluations, and optimization best practices.

Develop field scopes including measurements, materials selection, parts recommendations, and product applications.

Prepare technical reports, evaluations, and CAD drawings for wear analysis, liner optimization, and proposals.

Partner with Sales, Product Lines, Local Proposal teams, service hubs, and LCS to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Follow up on installations, maintain market intelligence, promote benchmarking, and support continuous product and solution improvement.

Who you are:

5–10 years of experience in heavy industry, preferably within mineral processing and crushing/screening equipment or related products.

Strong technical expertise in crushing and screening processes, applications, and CAD tools.

Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree, or equivalent practical experience.

Proven ability to work in a customer‑focused, service‑oriented environment with a clear understanding of customer needs and market requirements.

Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to lead projects effectively.

Highly motivated, hands‑on problem solver with strong interpersonal skills and experience building and managing internal relationships.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and perform under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Willingness and ability to travel frequently, often on short notice, to support business and customer needs.
