We’re seeking a

Director of Donor Engagement

to support the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and its ICF Foundation. This leader drives all philanthropic strategy for the Foundation, overseeing fundraising, major donor cultivation, donor relations, and stewardship programs. The Director also leads key donor events, builds and nurtures a culture of philanthropy, and supervises the Program Manager responsible for fundraising operations and scholarships. Role Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Execution:

develop a comprehensive annual plan; design, implement, and evaluate data‑driven fundraising campaigns; identify and cultivate major donor prospects; maintain strong donor relationships through systematic moves‑management; pursue corporate and individual donor leads aligned with the Foundation’s mission. Programs & Donor Engagement:

manage the Coaching Education Scholarship Program, solicit in‑kind donations from accredited providers; plan and deliver donor‑focused events; partner with ICF Marketing to develop compelling communications; provide onboarding and philanthropic training to volunteer leaders. Reporting & Analysis:

deliver accurate, timely reports and trend analyses using NetForum and other data sources; produce updates for the Foundation Board of Trustees. Leadership & Collaboration:

supervise and mentor the Program Manager (Fundraising Operations & Scholarships); collaborate closely with ICF, AI teams, volunteer leaders, and stakeholders to advance philanthropic goals. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, nonprofit management, or a related field. 5+ years of fundraising, donor relations, or development experience within a nonprofit organization. 2+ years of experience with major gifts strategy and solicitation. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing—to diverse audiences. Experience engaging and managing volunteers (preferred). Previous experience in the nonprofit sector and familiarity with donor databases (preferred). ICF Staff Promises
