Role Summary/Purpose
We are seeking an Art Director with a passion for creating award‑winning work to join Goldmind, Synchrony's in‑house creative agency. Our ideal candidate has exceptional digital design skills and is an excellent conceptual, strategic thinker as well as a natural collaborator and storyteller. The Art Director solves problems in collaboration with creative directors, art directors, strategists, copywriters, designers, developers, videographers, the account team and our clients. Primarily responsibilities include designing marketing campaigns for our business platforms across Synchrony that focus on B2B and B2C audiences.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for designing a wide range of creative projects including marketing campaigns, brand campaigns, experiential design, presentations, site design, social media, email campaigns and display ads
Collaborate with fellow creatives and outside vendors as required to exceed expectations on projects
Deliver creative solutions that impact both brand metrics and business outcomes.
Present and participate in creative reviews with peers and clients
Follow creative briefs, budgets, timelines, and processes for each project
Ensure objectives are met and work delivers to quality standards
Offer new ideas for creative processes and collaboration
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in fine arts OR in lieu of degree a high school diploma and 6 years of work experience in visual design and management experience
A minimum of 4 years of professional advertising agency experience and/or work within an in‑house creative team
Experience with Adobe Creative programs and Figma
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Must provide a portfolio or work samples to be considered for the role
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Salary The salary range for this position is
60,000.00 - 112,000.00
USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
