Description
SUMMARY: This position offers remote/hybrid flexibility once the employee is fully trained and receives management approval. Training will be completed on-site at our corporate office in Warwick, RI.
Schedule
Part‑time, 20 hours per week
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal managers and cross‑functional team members to understand project scope, target audience, and intended messaging.
Develop original visual content that effectively conveys the intended message or tone in a cohesive and engaging manner.
Select and apply appropriate graphics, stock imagery, and clip art, enhancing assets as needed with basic custom illustrations.
Select fonts for written copy; produce sample layout for approval by leadership or other project participants.
Prepare drafts of design work and provide samples to appropriate staff or departments for review.
Revise projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
Consult with marketing department and/or other team members as needed on complex or specialized projects.
Prepare print orders and assembly instructions upon notification of final approval.
Maintain records of billable project time as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe InDesign, and WordPress software.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently on an assignment.
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.
At least three years of related work experience highly preferred.
