
Account Executive Sales Representative

HYBRID INSIDE SALES AND OUTSIDE SALES WITH EMPHASIS ON OUTSIDE.
We are looking for a driven sales professional to join our team in a hybrid role that is primarily outside sales. This person will manage inbound leads, prospect new business, build relationships in the community, and represent J. Opler Co through professional organizations, networking groups, and sponsored events.
This is a strong fit for someone who is energized by meeting people, building trust, creating opportunities, and turning relationships into long-term business.
What you'll do
Respond to inbound leads quickly, professionally, and consistently.
Prospect new business through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and in-person relationship building.
Maintain and manage all activities and opportunities in our company CRM.
Spend the majority of your time in outside sales activity, developing relationships with local businesses and decision-makers.
Represent J. Opler Co at networking events, professional associations, chambers, sponsorship opportunities, and business community events.
Build deeper relationships within organizations where J. Opler Co participates as a vendor sponsor.
Identify client needs and recommend branded apparel, promotional items, employee merchandise, event products, and client gift solutions that fit their goals.
Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, office managers, marketing teams, HR leaders, operations contacts, and other key buyers.
Create quotes, manage follow-up, maintain sales activity, and move opportunities through the pipeline.
Stay connected with past clients and existing customers to generate repeat orders, referrals, and expanded business.
Work closely with internal team members to ensure a smooth transition from sale to production and fulfillment.

Qualifications
Experience in B2B sales, outside sales, business development, account management, or relationship-based selling preferred.
Experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, custom apparel, print, marketing services, or a related industry is a plus, but not required.
Comfort with cold outreach, prospecting, and in-person networking.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with a wide range of business clients.
Ability to manage a pipeline, track activity, and stay organized throughout the sales process.
Compensation
Base Salary Range of $50,000-$75,000 (commensurate of sales experience) plus commission.
