
Active Directory Engineer

Job Description
A large healthcare system is seeking an Active Directory Engineer to join their team in Fort Washington, PA. This individual will support a Windows and virtualized environment and play a key role in Active Directory cleanup, policy management, and automation efforts.
Responsibilities:
Lead Active Directory cleanup initiatives, including restructuring and optimization
Create, maintain, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Perform Active Directory updates, patching, and ongoing maintenance
Support a Windows-based environment (Windows Server 2022/2025)
Develop automations by writing PowerShell scripts from scratch
Work within a virtualized environment (VMware and/or Hyper-V)

Skills and Requirements
5-10 years of hands-on experience as an Active Directory Engineer
Strong experience creating and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Proven experience with Active Directory updates and patching
Advanced PowerShell skills, including writing scripts from scratch
Experience supporting Windows Server 2022 and/or 2025
