Position Summary The Purchasing Lead will support MAS‑HVAC manufacturing operations by managing procurement activities for engineered components. This role ensures timely and accurate purchasing of materials to meet production schedules and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Issue purchase orders to approved vendors once engineering designs are finalized.

Establish and communicate vendor order due dates based on production timelines.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure on‑time delivery of components.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and planning teams to align material availability with build schedules.

Maintain accurate purchasing records and update ERP systems as required.

Identify and resolve supply issues proactively to minimize production delays.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Supply Chain/Operations/Engineering)

5+ years of experience in a purchasing or planning role within a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of lead times, material planning, and vendor management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Credentials such as CPP, CPSM, CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma.
