Position Overview
The Correctional Solutions Consultant (Security Technology Sales) is responsible for supporting the planning, design, and delivery of ECC Imperium’s correctional technology solutions for federal, state, county, and specialty detention facilities. This role serves as a trusted technical and operational advisor to correctional agencies and internal ECC teams, ensuring solutions are properly designed, specified, and aligned with real‑world correctional workflows, life‑safety requirements, and long‑term operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical and operational sales consultant supporting ECC Imperium’s direct sales efforts for federal, state, county, and specialty detention facilities.
Partner closely with ECC sales leadership throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from early opportunity identification through contract award and project turnover.
Participate in pre‑sales strategy development, helping define pursuit approach, technical positioning, and solution scope based on customer priorities, facility risks, and operational drivers.
Lead or support customer‑facing presentations, system demonstrations, and technical briefings, clearly explaining how ECC Imperium solutions address operational efficiency, life‑safety risks, compliance requirements, and legal defensibility.
Translate customer pain points into value‑based solution narratives aligned to Imperium Jail Control, Imperium Pulse, video surveillance, access control, and intercom systems.
Support RFP, RFQ, and proposal development by contributing technical descriptions, reviewing specifications, identifying scope gaps, and assisting with clarifications and alternates.
Collaborate with estimating and engineering teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, accurately scoped, and aligned with customer expectations and budgets.
Assist sales leadership in qualifying opportunities, including assessment of facility readiness, infrastructure condition, funding sources, timelines, and procurement approach.
Provide technical credibility during competitive evaluations, differentiating ECC Imperium through architecture, reliability, scalability, and long‑term supportability.
Participate in contract review and project kickoff preparation to ensure sales commitments are accurately transitioned into execution.
Support post‑award scope validation meetings to confirm system functionality, implementation approach, and customer expectations.
Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process, reinforcing ECC Imperium’s role as a long‑term correctional technology partner.
Represent ECC Imperium at industry events.
