Job Description The Surplus & Specialty Transportation and Sharing Economy Digital Solutions team employs Agile principles to support business needs. We are seeking a Software Developer to help deliver high‑quality support to our partners and drive forward our cloud initiatives. If you thrive in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment, this role could be a perfect fit.

What You Will Do

Work with the full suite of AWS services (CLI, EC2, S3, Lambda, DMS, Glue, etc.)

Interact with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB

Collaborate with business units to analyze needs, recommend solutions, and prioritize deliverables

Develop and support applications within the division

Use Confluence and JIRA to manage tasks, projects, and documentation

Utilize version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket

Communicate with Digital teams and Business Units to define project goals, timelines, and solutions

What You Will Bring To C&F

0‑5+ years of application development experience

Understanding of the SDLC process

Passion for a dynamic, fast‑changing environment

Enthusiastic, positive attitude and a learning mindset

Innovative, entrepreneurial spirit

Internship experience is a plus

Ownership mentality and ability to see tasks through to completion

Degree or certification in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent

Compliance with departmental policies and procedures

Experience with production support and troubleshooting is a plus

Strong communication, note‑taking, and organizational skills

Experience with AWS is a plus

In‑depth knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, Angular or React, Node.js is a plus

Working experience with APIs is a plus

Salary ranges for the advertised position, located in the specified area, range from a minimum of $73,000 to a maximum of $120,000. The actual compensation is determined by market pay, responsibilities, required skills, and performance. Opportunities to participate in discretionary equity and performance‑based variable pay are also available.
