Overview
Job Title: Mechanical / Field Superintendent (High-Rise Construction) Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Tampa, FL (Relocation assistance offered) The role is to lead high-rise construction projects and oversee field operations. This position is responsible for managing crews, coordinating with project stakeholders, ensuring code compliance, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, deep field experience, and a commitment to quality, safety, and customer service. Key Responsibilities
Manage, evaluate, and train field project team members. Plan, organize, and direct production of the contracted scope of work. Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades. Coordinate production and attend meetings with general contractors and trade partners to identify and resolve conflicts. Ensure all installations meet quality standards and applicable mechanical codes. Manage material procurement and personnel resources to meet project schedules. Adhere to established standards of quality, safety, and industry best practices. Qualifications & Requirements
OSHA 30 certification preferred. Minimum of 6+ years of experience supervising field crews and managing multimillion-dollar high-rise construction projects. Proficient knowledge of National Building Code, local codes, and construction safety requirements. Strong English communication skills (spoken and written). Basic computer and documentation skills required. Demonstrated integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and commitment to growth.
