Cybersecurity Principal (ISSE) Located at Maxwell Air Force Base‑Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL, within the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), this role supports the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Common Services (CS) that establish, integrate, and sustain common engineered infrastructure and services across the Air Force’s ERP applications.

Responsibilities The ISSEE is responsible for the secure design, development, implementation, and/or integration of a DoW IS system cybersecurity architecture, system, or system components, ensuring functional and secure architecture and design in compliance with DoW and AF cybersecurity requirements.

Required Qualifications

U.S. citizenship.

Minimum 10+ years of Information Technology experience implementing and configuring cybersecurity mechanisms and technologies.

Certification or experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and supporting products (highly desirable).

Expertise in and support for implementing cybersecurity technologies known as Information Assurance (IA).

Experience within the Federal Government supporting cybersecurity practices for Business Enterprise Systems.

Active DoW Security Clearance (Secret).

Knowledge and experience working with eMASS.

Detailed knowledge of the Risk Management Framework.

Experience with NIST SP 800‑53 security controls and understanding of control implementations.

Maintain all required security and certification status.

Education, Training and Certification

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cyber Security, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

Appropriate certification per DAFMAN 17‑1305 (e.g., CISSP‑ISSEP, FITSP‑D, GCSA).

Current Secret clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud experience (OCI).

Experience with Atlassian Tool suite.

Proficiency in Agile Development methodologies.

Experience with ServiceNow.

Work Schedule and Location

Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Location: Onsite at Maxwell AFB.

Travel: None.
