A well‑established U.S. private equity platform is seeking a

Vice President, Investor Relations

to join its capital raising and investor partnership function. The firm has a long history of investing across cycles and focuses on building durable, high‑quality businesses in the middle market. With continued growth ahead, the team is adding a senior IR professional to help shape fundraising strategy and deepen engagement with a diverse global LP base.

In this role, the VP will be a key contributor to the firm’s capital formation efforts, working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. The position spans fundraising execution, investor communication, product positioning, and strategic projects tied to new fund launches and co‑investment opportunities. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑moving environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Leading and supporting fundraising processes, including preparation of materials, management of diligence workflows, and coordination across internal teams.

Building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors such as pensions, foundations, sovereign entities, insurers, and family offices.

Developing consistent, high‑quality investor communications and ensuring alignment of messaging across presentations, DDQs, and related materials.

Serving as a connection point between investment teams and LPs, helping translate strategy, portfolio activity, and market perspectives into clear narratives.

Partnering on product development initiatives, including structuring and positioning new strategies and co‑invest opportunities.

Managing information flow among internal stakeholders and external partners, including advisors and placement agents.

The firm is seeking someone with 6+ years in private equity or alternatives, with direct experience in fundraising, product development, or investor relations. Strong analytical capabilities, a polished client presence, and the ability to drive processes independently are essential.
