A nationally recognized and rapidly growing organization with a large multi-state real estate portfolio is seeking a

Director of Asset Management

to lead the strategic oversight and performance optimization of its commercial assets. This role will drive asset value creation, portfolio performance, and long-term strategic planning across a diverse portfolio of income-producing properties. The Director will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams including acquisitions, finance, development, and legal to support portfolio growth and operational excellence. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping asset strategy and ensuring successful execution of property-level business plans across multiple markets. Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategic management and performance optimization of a multi-state commercial real estate portfolio. Oversee the full asset lifecycle including business planning, financial performance, leasing strategy, capital planning, and operational oversight. Develop and execute strategies that maximize asset value, cash flow, and long-term portfolio performance. Partner with cross-functional teams including acquisitions, development, leasing, finance, and legal to support growth initiatives and investment strategies. Manage capital improvement, renovation, and repositioning initiatives across the portfolio. Build strong relationships with ownership partners, tenants, brokers, contractors, and external advisors. Oversee operating and capital budgets while ensuring strong financial discipline and performance tracking. Lead, mentor, and develop team members while driving a culture of accountability and high performance. Identify opportunities to enhance asset management processes, reporting, and portfolio strategy. Qualifications

Strong experience in

commercial real estate asset management and portfolio oversight Deep understanding of

asset performance optimization, capital planning, and investment strategy Ability to translate strategic initiatives into operational execution across multiple properties and markets Exceptional financial, analytical, and decision-making skills Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities Experience collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams Education

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Construction Management, or a related field required Master’s degree or advanced real estate training preferred
