Overview We are seeking a
Senior Asset Manager
to lead and manage a portfolio of solar and energy storage assets. This role is critical in ensuring optimal performance, long-term value creation, and operational excellence across operating assets.
The position sits at the intersection of operations, finance, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, a background in finance or engineering, and experience within the energy or renewables sector.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for assigned assets, overseeing performance, maintenance, and revenue generation
Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and value creation
Oversee and approve operations & maintenance (O&M) activities
Manage relationships with key stakeholders including landowners, regulators, and internal teams
Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with investment or fund teams on financial performance, budgeting, and return analysis
Review and approve financial transactions in line with business objectives
Track and manage portfolio KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives
Support the onboarding and integration of newly operational assets
Contribute to process improvements and scaling of asset management systems
Lead initiatives to enhance portfolio performance and operational efficiency
Requirements
6–8+ years of experience in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sectors, ideally in asset management
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of energy project financing and asset operations
Highly collaborative with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
Experience working with external stakeholders and managing complex relationships
Ability to analyse large datasets and interpret contractual information
Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems
