Role Description This is a full-time role for a Survey Crew Chief, based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Survey Crew Chief will oversee and conduct land surveying tasks, including topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys. Day-to-day responsibilities include training field crews, operating total stations and GPS rovers, and ensuring accuracy in data collection and reporting. The role also involves coordinating with drafting teams and adhering to project timelines and training new employees. Some travel will be required.
Qualifications
Expertise in Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, and ALTA Surveys
Proficiency in Land Surveying practices and standards
Experience with Total Stations and GPS Rovers
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to interpret and analyze survey data accurately
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with Trimble Equipment - Huge Plus
Familiarity with CAD software and drafting processes is a plus
Part 107-C Drone Pilots License with in 30 days of hiring.
Willing to travel up to day 10 days per month.
