Job Summary The Senior Director of Food and Nutrition Services will oversee dining operations for a multi‑million dollar account at a large, multi‑campus healthcare facility. You will lead a team of over 200 hourly employees, 12 salaried managers, and manage client relationships, profitability, and talent development.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the department within the approved budget while providing maximum value to the client.
Ensure the food offered is of superior quality.
Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and other departments.
Promote the professional growth and development of the team.
Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise, preferably in healthcare food service.
Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable.
ServSafe® certification a plus.
