Pratt School of Engineering Communications & Marketing Intern (Summer 2026) We are looking for a part‑time Communications & Marketing Intern to support strategic communications initiatives that promote the school’s research, faculty expertise, student achievements, and community impact. The Intern will develop compelling, mission‑driven content that highlights impact across digital platforms and contribute to storytelling efforts aligned with institutional priorities to enhance the school’s visibility among prospective students, alumni, faculty, partners, and donors.

Responsibilities

Create social media posts highlighting research breakthroughs, student experiences, and faculty thought leadership.

Produce short‑form video content for digital platforms.

Assist with event promotion and recap content.

Develop graphics and visual assets aligned with brand standards.

Provide website/news story support as needed.

Desired Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Portfolio of creative work (video, graphics, and/or photography).

Strong visual and storytelling skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Ability to meet deadlines and arrive on time for scheduled meetings (virtual or in‑person).

Confidence in contributing creative ideas.

Open to constructive feedback and committed to refining creative work through collaboration.

Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Familiarity with current social media platforms, trends, and analytics.

Basic video editing experience (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software).

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.

Photography and/or videography experience is a plus.

Other Requirements Report to the Digital & Brand Strategy team within the Strategic Marketing & Communications group. Work closely with the Senior Multimedia Producer and the Senior Integrated Marketing Communications Specialist.
