Traveling Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

Lead all on‑site construction activities while upholding HC Company’s standards of quality and integrity

Collaborate across departments, from estimating to business development, to drive project success

Ensure superior QA/QC by verifying all installations and materials meet project specifications

Develop, modify, and manage schedules, updating them weekly to align all stakeholders

Oversee site planning, layout, staging, and phasing for maximum efficiency

Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular training and site audits

Coordinate material deliveries and owner‑supplied equipment to avoid delays

Track and manage change orders, RFIs, and PCOs to maintain project flow

Ensure as‑built drawings are updated weekly and submitted before subcontractor payments

Actively contribute to the Safety Committee, improving processes and maintaining HC Company’s reputation for safety

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field

8+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent or similar role

Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office)

Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Expertise in ADA accessibility, jurisdictional compliance, and self‑perform labor productivity

Ability to build, retain, and create strong industry relationships

Experience in trade layout, installation methods, and construction technology
