Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and strategic Real Estate Procurement Professional to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution for real estate procurement globally, setting short and long-term plans to source and manage IRM's Facilities, Data Center space, and real estate footprint. You will act as a key partner to our Real Estate and Facilities Engineering groups to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management:

Assist the RE/FM Category Head to fundamentally alter IRM's approach to sourcing space by marrying pragmatic category strategies to business and operational needs.

Facilities & Supplier Governance:

Own the sourcing strategy and supplier governance for hard FM services (maintenance, electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, etc.) and selected soft services (janitorial, waste, landscaping).

Operational Excellence:

Establish SLAs, response standards, and KPIs to drive a shift from reactive work to planned maintenance, reducing downtime risk and cost variability.

Sustainability Integration:

Embed ESG requirements into supplier selection and contracting, partnering with stakeholders to identify ROI-backed projects such as efficiency retrofits and asset lifecycle extensions.

Capital Project Support:

Provide sourcing and commercial support for construction and design-related work, including contractor benchmarking, competitive bidding, and establishing procurement guardrails.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with contracting teams, site leads, and ESG stakeholders to ensure compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

Professional Experience:

Proven experience in executing sourcing strategies, RFx processes, negotiations, and supplier evaluations to achieve cost savings and value creation.

Analytical Expertise:

Strong ability to leverage technology and analytical tools to enhance category management and drive data-driven decision-making.

Technical Knowledge:

Deep knowledge of contract drafting, review, and management within the real estate or facilities category.

Data Proficiency:

Experience analyzing procurement data and reporting insights to support executive decision-making and performance evaluation.

Stakeholder Management:

Proven ability to influence regional strategy and drive adoption with site leaders through governance and scalable playbooks.
