The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies, and monitors and reports on effectiveness of implementation. We enable senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nation’s strategic resource objectives.
We have an upcoming need for a Mid-level Open Source Intelligence Analyst to provide onsite support out of Quantico, VA and Stafford, VA.
Responsibilities The Mid-Level Open Source Intelligence Analyst will provide Entity Vetting support and team leadership. You will coordinate with the on-site SPA program manager and government leaders for performance, planning, training, and analytic results. The primary focus of this position is to identify and analyze potential Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) risk across the Defense Industrial Base.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Market Research, Security, Intelligence, or related fields
Minimum 8 years of experience in risk analysis, competitive intelligence, commercial due diligence, finance, or merger & acquisitions
Minimum 8 years of experience applying analytics standards for business intelligence, security, and intelligence data
Minimum 8 years of experience using commercial and proprietary business, legal, and intelligence databases and resources (e.g. Bloomberg, Factiva, LexisNexis, Pitchbook, Capital IQ, Dunn & Bradstreet, etc)
Minimum 8 years of experience identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, and potential solutions
Able to work fully onsite based on client needs
Desired:
Previous experience conducting Entity Vetting and Financial Due Diligence for the US Department of Defense
