curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented Inside Sales Engineer . This position is responsible for supporting manufacturer representatives and shepherding opportunities through the Extol sales process while ensuring customers receive thoughtful, technically sound solutions. Strong candidates will demonstrate a strong desire to learn, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams. The Ideal Candidate Demonstrates curiosity and initiative by actively learning Extol’s technologies and applications during the hands-on training period in the Process Development Center. Builds strong working relationships with manufacturer representatives, customers, and internal teams to support successful opportunities. Maintains organization and attention to detail while managing opportunity information, customer data, and CRM updates. Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborates effectively across teams including sales, engineering, and applications to support customer success. Thrives in a learning-focused environment where gaining technical expertise is essential to long-term success in the role. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline. Experience with technical problem-solving or applications engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and explain technical concepts. Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining organized and detail oriented.
