Senior Construction Estimator — High-End Commercial

Our client is seeking a Sr. Construction Estimator. MUST HAVE Experience in Commercial Construction High End Residential Projects Must be local to Ventura County (No exceptions) A well-established general contractor is seeking a Senior Estimator with strong experience in commercial construction and high-end residential projects. This role is dedicated to estimating and preconstruction, supporting multi-million-dollar builds from concept through final bid. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and accurate cost estimates for large-scale construction projects Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure complete project scope coverage Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids Develop project budgets, cost breakdowns, and value engineering solutions Collaborate with project managers and internal teams during preconstruction phases Maintain organized estimating files, bid documentation, and historical cost data Participate in bid reviews and respond to technical and pricing inquiries Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in construction estimating Proven track record estimating multi-million-dollar commercial and luxury residential projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously Technical Skills Experience with estimating and takeoff software (Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk, Smartsheet) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Education Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred Health insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Monday to Friday
