
Technical Sales Rep-Network Infrastructure

CED Bowling Green is looking for an inside sales person focused on selling networking infrastructure products, software, and services. Key functions of the job include managing technical product portfolios, maintaining CRM database, driving revenue growth, and building relationships with existing partners while driving new business.
Product Focus Areas
Infrastructure Components:
Fiber optic, wireless infrastructure, custom cable solutions, and datacom networking solutions.
Security & Hardware:
Network security products, routers, switches, and related hardware.
Services:
Professional engineering services, maintenance, and support contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Activity:
Managing inbound inquiries, conducting cold/warm calling, and managing the full sales cycle (3–6 months).
Technical Quoting:
Preparing quotes, ensuring accuracy of pricing, margins, and checking product availability/lead times.
Relationship Management:
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned accounts and channel partners.
Pipeline & CRM Management:
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in tools like Salesforce.
Support & Collaboration:
Supporting outside sales representatives with account management and coordinating with internal teams/vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of wireless, telecom, or IT solutions.
Working Conditions
Office environment, with travel to customer sites that include construction or manufacturing environments.
