Park Place Outreach Youth Emergency Shelter is a 12‑bed temporary residential home for runaway, homeless, and at‑risk youth ages 11‑17. It also operates a Street Outreach Program and Drop‑In Center for homeless or nearly homeless youth. In addition to safe and secure shelter, we provide counseling, tutoring, mentoring, workforce and life‑skills training, and enrichment opportunities. Our goal is to redirect and equip teens toward educational and workplace achievement, stable housing, positive relationships, and overall wellbeing.
Member Duties
Raise awareness of issues impacting homeless, runaway, and at‑risk youth in underserved communities throughout Savannah and surrounding areas.
Spearhead marketing tactics to maintain a strong social media presence and engage supporters.
Create online content and newsletters to keep supporters updated on Park Place Outreach.
Serve as a liaison to distribute press releases and coordinate media interviews.
Represent Park Place Outreach at outreach events.
Plan and implement Park Place Outreach Fund Development events.
Navigate and manage donor and volunteer databases.
Partner with staff and volunteers to facilitate engagement fundraising campaigns online and through community events on a monthly basis.
Assist staff in collecting, monitoring, and improving data performance metrics to enhance agency performance quality improvements.
