Overview Producers work to understand client organizations’ needs and challenges. They leverage the Proactive People Strategy value proposition along with broader capabilities offered by Gallagher cross‑divisionally. Success requires building, retaining, and expanding a book of business while developing a personal brand consistent with Gallagher’s high‑achieving, collaborative, and innovative culture.
The Role of the Producer Producers engage clients, develop new business, and grow existing accounts by applying industry expertise and strategic insight. They act as independent consultants, build relationships with senior decision‑makers, and collaborate with internal experts to deliver client value.

How You'll Make An Impact Objectives for Success
Develop a book of business from your own network, targeting a specific vertical or employer size.
Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads exceeding four times the goal and keep pipeline data current.
Consult clients independently and identify opportunities for other subject‑matter experts.
Conduct client discovery with CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, and key stakeholders.
Schedule check‑ins and briefings with the Client Service team to update on account status.
Organize internal client review meetings and preserve retention through creative account expansion.
Engage executive sponsors as appropriate.
Report account status to the Regional Sales Leader and Area President/Area EVP quarterly.
Build an internal support network, apply Organizational Wellbeing concepts, partner with Global Broking Producers, and participate in divisional initiatives within the first 12 months.
Analyze competition, provide market win/loss data, and schedule post‑presentation reviews.
Solicit feedback on performance and train junior team members on complex client strategy.
Advocate for your succession and career progression opportunities.
About You Required:
Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related experience and appropriate insurance licensing; or participation in Gallagher’s Sales Internship Program with licensing; or high school diploma/GED with 6 years of experience.
Preferred:
Professional designation such as CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM.
Behaviors:
Act independently, communicate effectively, and build strong interpersonal skills.
