Role Overview We are seeking a technical and creative
Email & Digital Design Specialist
to bridge the gap between high‑level design and complex marketing automation. This role is responsible for converting design assets into high‑performing, responsive HTML emails and managing sophisticated workflows across
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
and
HubSpot .
Critical Requirement:
Expert-level proficiency in
AMPscript
is mandatory for this position.
Core Responsibilities
Email Development:
Convert Figma wireframes and design assets into responsive, mobile‑optimized HTML/CSS emails.
Automation & Personalization:
Implement and troubleshoot complex AMPscript logic, dynamic content, and data‑driven personalization within SFMC.
Workflow Management:
Build and maintain modular templates for scalability; execute automated campaign delivery through HubSpot workflows and SFMC Journey Builder.
Quality Assurance:
Lead rigorous QA and rendering tests using
Litmus
to ensure cross‑client compatibility and accessibility.
Platform Migration:
Support platform migration efforts, including template mapping, workflow transitions, and data modeling.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Partner with creative and marketing teams to ensure all campaigns are brand‑aligned and optimized for performance.
Web Support:
Provide light front‑end support for campaign landing pages and microsites (HTML/CSS/JS) as needed.
Experience & Education
Minimum 3 years
of experience in email marketing, brand design, and digital customer experiences.
Bachelor’s Degree
in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (Equivalent professional experience may be considered).
Deep understanding of email compliance regulations (CAN‑SPAM, GDPR).
Technical Proficiencies
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Expert):
Content Builder, Data Extensions, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Query Activities.
Solid SQL knowledge
and advanced
AMPscript
are essential.
HubSpot (Proficient):
Custom templates, HubL modules, CRM segmentation, smart content, and workflow automation.
Development:
Expert-level HTML/CSS for email; familiarity with JavaScript for front‑end web components.
Testing:
Expert use of
Litmus
or similar rendering tools.
Professional Competencies
Data‑Driven Mindset:
Ability to interpret automation performance data and apply insights to improve engagement metrics.
Problem Solver:
