Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

About The Role The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role formulates strong partnerships across business units to deliver value‑added HR services aligned with organizational goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic partnership with hands‑on execution across all areas of Human Resources.

What You'll Do

Partner with leaders to identify HR needs and provide proactive, practical solutions.

Lead and support recruiting, hiring, change management, and employee exit processes.

Provide day‑to‑day performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.

Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough and objective investigations.

Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and internal policies.

Support compensation strategy through market benchmarking, internal equity analysis, and employee education.

Assist with payroll processing, HRIS management, reporting, and process improvements.

Support benefits administration including open enrollment, vendor servicing, and employee education.

Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational restructuring efforts.

Conduct stay and exit interviews and provide meaningful insights to leadership.

Represent UTFCU at recruiting events and serve as a key point of contact for employee HR inquiries.

What You Bring

Minimum 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.

Strong working knowledge across multiple HR disciplines, including:

Employee relations

Compensation and benefits

Payroll processing

HRIS management

Performance management

Federal and state employment law

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP certification required.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of discretion and confidentiality.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to build trust quickly and serve as a credible, professional HR advisor.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.

Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
