A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead its maintenance department. This role is responsible for directing all preventive and unplanned maintenance activities across facilities, equipment, and production systems. You will develop strategic maintenance programs that enhance safety, operational efficiency, and equipment reliability while coordinating closely with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all preventive, predictive, and unplanned maintenance activities across facilities and production equipment. Oversee daily maintenance operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of methods and procedures. Manage budgets, capital projects, and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and project oversight. Optimize and administer the CMMS to track work orders, asset performance, and resource allocation. Ensure regulatory compliance, support cross‑functional coordination, and develop maintenance staff. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in maintenance management or a similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, industrial equipment, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with CMMS, budgeting, vendor management, and capital project oversight. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
