Job responsibilities
Develop a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers
Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Build and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Leverage deep expertise in investment data to inform product decisions, data models, and calculation logic powering advisor tools and experiences
Align cross‑functional partners on problem statements, outcomes, and trade‑offs through crisp narratives and decision documents, facilitating rollout strategy and communications to drive adoption
Ensure adoption of UX, accessibility, and performance standards while evolving advisor workflows to reduce friction and improve time‑to‑value
Run structured research to inform roadmap decisions and enhance product experience, defining OKRs, analytics measurement, and data requirements while establishing dashboards and reporting rhythms
Partner with Compliance and Legal on review cycles, maintaining audit readiness for domain artifacts and decision logs; facilitate execution of agile principles across cross‑functional teams with risk and controls
Identify, research, and define compliant platform enhancements including disclosures, monitoring, suitability checks, and reporting compliant with SEC and FINRA rules
Integrate advisor tools across the ecosystem with CRM, SSO, analytics, and personalization capabilities, contributing to global standards for data, calculations, and reliability
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience in product management or a related domain area
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Domain expertise in investment data and analytics: deep knowledge of managed product performance and risk metrics, qualitative characteristics, factor models/exposures, and scenario/stress‑test sensitivities
Expertise in advisor due diligence & portfolio construction: former Financial Advisor experience or deep understanding of advisor decision‑making across mutual funds, ETFs, private alternatives, retail SMAs, models, and retirement investments
Product management strengths: operating model and governance, OKR‑driven execution, and mixed‑methods research
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
Industry depth in Asset Management or Wealth Management; competitive product messaging; experience with retirement plan ecosystems
Global scope: launched/adapted products across multiple regions and regulatory contexts
Familiarity with portfolio analytics and optimization techniques
Compliance/regulatory familiarity: track record partnering with Compliance/Legal and identifying areas of risk and disclosure requirements
Credentials such as CFA, CIMA, FRM, or similar
Strategic and pragmatic; simplifies complexity and delivers incrementally
