Overview
Gift of Adoption is a national charity that provides grants up to $15,000 to help complete the adoption of children in vulnerable circumstances. Gift of Adoption is the largest provider of adoption assistance grants on a nondiscriminatory basis (without regard to age, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or marital status).
Board Member Responsibilities
Serve a 3‑year term and recruit one new board member each term.
Raise funds and generate awareness for the Arizona Chapter.
Collaborate with board colleagues to raise at least 6 hours/month to support fundraising.
Leverage networks and resources to achieve chapter goals.
Qualifications
Passionate about the mission of Gift of Adoption.
Experience on nonprofit boards or fundraising committees.
Skills in event planning, grant writing, or major gifts.
Willingness to meet personal give/get goals and bring unique background and talent.
Commitment Members serve as volunteers for a non‑compensatory, 3‑year term. Each member must recruit one new board member by term end.
