Overview The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and execution of robust advertising communication strategies, plans, and campaigns to advance the mission, vision, and initiatives of Golden Nugget Laughlin, through an omni-channel approach including sending marketing e-mails to our database. This position will communicate directly with stakeholders, evaluate communication channels and methods, and be expected to maintain expert knowledge of current marketing tactics, tools, and technology. The Marketing Manager plays a key role in implementing digital strategies tailored to different programs and audiences including website, social media, email and on property advertising and will leverage and incorporate standardized processes, tools, templates, and best practices to define and manage a variety of digital media and marketing programs.

Responsibilities

Oversee the end to end optimization and governance of advertising processes: ensure technology and automation are integrated and deployed effectively, funnels are optimized, goals are defined clearly and kept in focus, data is tracked properly, reports are used and insights applied, budgets are respected, planning is actionable, and communication routines are smooth.

Lead effort in the development and implementation of property communication strategy and have ownership of monthly content calendars for all channels, including social media, email, Golden Nugget Mobile App, and monthly media buy.

Responsible for assisting in the department’s budget process and providing recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives.

Oversee the creation of content for all marketing efforts to ensure all communications are accurate and adhere to brand standards, including emails, ad insertions, landing pages, direct mail pieces, and signage.

Develop new branding and serve as custodian for existing brands, ensuring the key components that form each brand’s toolbox are protected by establishing and adhering to set standards and customer experience guidelines in all operations and communications.

Plan, develop, create and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategy, identifying opportunities to integrate digital into business, marketing strategies, and campaigns - for email, social media, Golden Nugget Mobile App, Golden Nugget Laughlin Website, SEO, PPC ads, and on-property signage.

Develop strong relationships and proactively communicate with internal and external teams to facilitate advertising needs.

Consistently managing and overseeing advertising campaigns to ensure they're engaging customers and bringing in results.

Define, analyze, and report campaign and channel KPIs to inform ongoing strategy.

Assist in the creation of proposals, initiatives, and strategies for marketing efforts including, but not limited to advertising, public relations, and direct marketing.

Act as a firm representative to the news media, and organize public appearances and events.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Digital Marketing experience including sending casino emails, preferably through salesforce

Proven experience strategizing, developing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing multiple marketing campaigns across various channels and tactics

Strong Communication Skills

Proven talent in writing effective copy and developing engaging content

Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment

Energetic self-starter with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadline-driven tasks

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree or two (2) years industry experience. Minimum of one (1) year experience in casino/hotel/travel industry with marketing or advertising focus.

Minimum age requirement is 21
